2/9/11 - ice... ice...

After three days last week of work being closed it was just too much to wish it would close again.  Schools were closed after all the weather man was saying this arctic blast was going to be worse than last week.  As far as temperatures goes it was a mere 13 degrees hitting record highs for Texas.  Texas - I live in the south for a reason, people!  I don't even own a ice scrapper - I had to use a CD case.  I'm glad I still had one in my car - the old CD case came in handy, the CDs don't have to be sad because the iPods are making them obsolete.

You can't tell from the picture but can you see that my windshield wiper is kinda in the air - it was FROZEN and would not move.  Luckily most people must have stayed home with their little kids because traffic was NOT bad at all  - for that I was thankful.

By the end of the of the day, God shed light on the subject, despite what the weather man said - HE knew Texas was tired of not seeing His great LIGHT.  For sure, He knew I was really missing it and he took away my fears of how much worse it was going to get home.  After all, the weather guys were saying it was only going to get worse throughout the day.
God is great!
