Day 4 of no school and at 5:45 AM work said building is opening at 10:00 AM - by 9:00 AM they closed the building down, again. It was crazy - global warming?
In the news today - "Avalanche Situation at Cowboys Stadium sends 6 people to the hospital" - AVALANCHE?? That is a word you don't expect to hear in Texas! Apparently the ice/snow that was on the roof of the stadium came tumbling down crashing 12 stories down on the people below. The sun peeped out long enough to melt a little of this mess by around 2:00 PM - but never went above 32 degrees so by night fall it was back to slick dangerous roads. all over Facebook people are getting serious cabin fever - I sure hope everyone stayed safe. Me, I stayed in - still not feeling well, happy to be in my nice warm house. My BFF, was in the hospital recovering from surgery on her broken leg. Tuesday, she slipped and fell on her back patio breaking her leg in three places!! :( It's been unusually bad out there people... |
